I am not quite a legendary photographer. Yet. However, there was one picture I took today at Stony Brook Hospital during a student interview for the Health Careers Opportunities Program that was simply amazing. Mr. John Williams would be proud of me and so would Dan Goodrich. This picture represents H.C.O.P. to every extent.
First off, H.C.O.P. is a program designated for giving opportunities to the under-represented; and the four students are under-represented in this picture.
Secondly, this is a program designed for students interested in science majors. You can note the skeleton on the left of the screen.
Once again, you may note that one can only see what is directly ahead, and you can barely make out the exit sign. Everything between the top and bottom of the photograph is blurry, demonstrating the fact that most students enter the program with no clue of what will fold out in their lifetime, and want to make clearer the paths they will choose to undergo.
Lastly, the picture gives that sensation as if you’ve just woken up and your eyes haven’t adjusted yet. H.C.O.P. is just a year old; the program is just beginning to adjust.
So what do you think? Does this represent H.C.O.P.? Professor Ahmad said no, but maybe he just didn’t know all the facts. His eye is practiced, but sometimes a fresh look into the news holds a lot of potential. Please give your feedback!

At first, when just looking at the pic, I was very unclear what you saw, but reading your article made all the sense then! Good work!
I thought that it was a most interesting perspective! it made me smile…under covers!
