Sitting here once again on a Tuesday morning waiting for the girls to arrive and leave for the SAC, I’m woefully tired and bereft of hunger. Last night I underestimated my fatigue and went to sleep too late, at 11:30 p.m., thus the cause of this morning’s unfortunate state.
However, yesterday was full and teeming with methodology, technique, experience and comprehension. The press conference with Fifth District Suffolk County Legislator Kara Hahn was a new for me and I actually thoroughly enjoyed it. I asked a question on the offer to purchase 100 acres of land by the Peconic River, something that occurred only a few days, devoid of any external news coverage.
Mr. Williams and Mr. Racioppio staged two engaging lessons, where we went around the campus in the vicinity of the library, putting my hands on state-of-the art photographical and videographical equipment and mentors. I dipped into an unfamiliar state. Although I do take pictures on my own time, I was never the student expert of those two areas at my school’s newspaper.
Today, my team, including Margaret, Marchella, will set out for our stories.
