Today was our first real Greene experience. From 7 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., the team and I had back-to-back lessons with eating and restroom breaks in between. It seemed never ending, but it was great to reflect on what I learned and to realize that it had been a lot more than I expected. We spent most of the time in the newsroom that we had previewed on the day of orientation. Later on in the day, we went to a press conference with Legislator Kara Hahn, got camera tips from a Pulitzer Prize winning photographer, video tips from a broadcast photojournalist, practiced with videos and pictures, and then uploaded them to our Greene folder. Looking forward to tomorrow!
