Today we were bombarded with technical information about how cameras work and utilize light and background to create great pictures. I really enjoyed taking the videos and editing the clips. In addition, we started reporting out on campus today. My team and I completed our first story on the effects of John Nash’s death on game theory. We went to the building where a game theory conference was being held. It was a very interesting experience. The receptionist was close to throwing us out for taking pictures even though we had press passes. To make matters worse, the guy we were supposed to interview wasn’t even there. Despite that setback, we were still able to get a lot of footage and some good interviews. I look forward to the Ducks game tomorrow. Hopefully, we won’t get thrown out.
