On Monday, I got the chance to learn about a part of journalism that I have not had much experience with. Photojournalism requires deep thought and much patience. John Williams, a photo journalist at Newsday, would correct us when we said we made a mistake by telling us that mistakes can not be made when taking pictures, however improvements can always be made. His words helped me find enough confidence in myself to pick up the camera and take picture upon picture. When Williams reviewed our work with us, the one on one connection that was created between me and him helped me learn and provided me with helpful tips that I can take back to my school newspaper.
