I always thought that photography was just taking a picture at the right moment from a great angle but turns out that there is so much more. The hands-on experience was so much fun and easy to learn yet hard to practice. Angling, ISO, shutter speed and aperture were all new techniques and terms needed to get that perfect professional picture.
Walking around campus and just taking random pictures was very enjoyable and to my surprise my pictures were not that bad and eventually got better.
In the hands-on video lesson we learned about what makes a great quality news video: A good “sound bite” and using up your frame makes it all more pleasing to the eye and much more engaging.
