Preliminary plunging into the press’ pathway

Well sitting here waiting in the Irving College’s lounge to go to the Student Activities Center, waiting for the girls to arrive, I am concerning myself with the rest ¬†of today’s activities. As the program began, we were exposed to quite a mass of information yesterday on photography and research, and am also looking forward to today’s press conference with Suffolk County Legislator Kara Hahn.

More importantly, after playing late night games with the fellow Greene members and staying up with my roommate and dorm neighbors, I’ve learned that these people around me are all fantastic and interesting. After a slow start, we’re all steadily getting to know each other. During downtime hours, the Garcia Materials Research students are also a great group to talk with, as I am a STEM-heavy student like them, but with a heart and an enjoyment for journalism.
